Future Quiet Moby Transparent Vinyl edition
Future Quiet
Moby
Transparent Vinyl edition
With "Future Quiet", electronica icon Moby opens a new chapter in his decades-long career and presents an expansive and deeply introspective work that explores the tension between an increasingly chaotic world and humanity's longing for stillness. The album features fourteen tracks that blend modern piano minimalism, enveloping ambient landscapes, and a carefully selected set of vocal collaborations.
Moby describes the album as a sanctuary – a deliberate retreat from today's noise and overstimulation. Although he has embraced both the bombastic and the subtle over the years, "Future Quiet" clearly leans towards the latter and offers a meditative soundscape shaped by restraint, texture, and emotional clarity. The album also revisits one of Moby's most beloved compositions with a new 2026 version of "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die" featuring Jacob Lusk from Gabriels, which served as the album's first single. Other vocalists on the tracklist include Elise Serenelle, India Carney, and serpentwithfeet.
