Many opera composers wanted to give the clarinet an importance equal to that of the voice. This CD features hits from the Italian romantic opera from, among others, La Traviata, Rigoletto, Cavalleria Rusticana, and adapted for a clarinet choir. If these operas have inspired many adaptations and arrangements, it is to meet the need, once the curtain down, to relive at home the thrills of the operatic scene, when the record did not exist yet.
