Life Inside A Tornado

THE RADAR STATION, with their rich, layered synth and guitar parts and prominent drums, creates its own unique sound: expansive, contemporary indie rock in the schools of The War On Drugs and The National, with echoes by Peter Gabriel and Daniel Lanois. Characteristic of the band is the striking, warm and enchanting voice of singer Brent Buckler, which also comes into its own on stage and is reminiscent of Eddie Vedder, Tom Smith of Editors or Liam O'Monlai of Hothouse Flowers. The Radar Station convinced numerous concert organizers in a short time. In 2018, the young band played tasteful sets on, among others, Linkerwoofer, De Effenaar (NL), Gigant (NL) and the IZUG Festival in Breda (NL). Last year there were notable passages at Kneistival, the Fonnefeesten and the OLT in Antwerp, among others. Meanwhile under roof at booking offices Rumoer! (B) and Zwaardvis Music (NL) will have dozens of shows on the agenda in the coming months. The first chapters were also written on the radio. Singles "Voices, ""Subtle Science"", ""Zanzara"", ""Pictures of You"" and ""The Giant"" camped for weeks in the playlists of Radio 1 and Studio Brussel. In mid-2019, The Radar Station was invited to play a live session on NPO Radio 5 (NL) and also NPO Radio 2 and the Belgian French-speaking Rock station Classic 21 embraced the band. The Radar Station is also one of the 3 winners of Studio Brussels DE NIEUWE LICHTING, maximizing the attention for this most promising Belgian band. On September 4 their long-awaited debut album ""Life Inside a Tornado"" will be released, a powerful, atmospheric record that confirms without a doubt that The Radar Station belongs in the highest division of the Belgian rock scene."
