The Anxovetes no longer only sing the songs based on summer Habaneras but also more intimate and collected, of genuinely Mediterranean character. In this new work, they have taken the traditional genre of the Habanera as a starting point to go much further, and even get away, offering music that reinforces, reviews and broadens the repertoire of sailor songs with influences from pop, rock, bolero, joropo and, of course, Habanera, all of them linked to a thread that explains stories of the sea witha woman's voice. Plus they have a new component: the percussionist Jaume Cata, who puts the rhythmic base with a wide range of instruments.
