Perry Keyes
Australian singer/songwriter PERRY KEYES (formerly of Sydney band STOLEN HOLDENS) is hardly typical rockstar material. He lives in the working-class Sydney suburb of Redfern, drives cabs by day and plays with his band at night. But live shows in NSW and endorsements by other Australian musicians have built a following for 39-year old Keyes ahead of the release of his two-CD, 18 song debut, 'Meter', produced by GRANT SHANAHAN (EVA TROUT) and MICHAEL CARPENTER. Keyes weaves detailed scenarios and characters into his songs, earning him the title "The Bruce Springsteen of Redfern" from his admirerers. Rocket.2006
