Buffalo Rider: Journey to Gladesville

The Buffalo Rider is the second book in the Cherokee Trader series. It traces the adventures of The Buffalo Rider and his wife Songbird as they leave their adopted home on Gibson's Ridge, Tennessee. Where they have lived amoungst the Melungeon race of people for ten years under the white man's name of Walter and Lucy Mosley. But with hope of a better life they pack up and head north in search in search of Songbird's sister Spotted Doe and her husband Chief Blackhawk. After learning of their move to Big Glades, Virginia. After several misfortunes befall them along the way, the young Cherokee couple have to revert to their survival training as young Cherokee youths too survive in the ruthless wilderness of Western Virginia.
