Publisher Marketing: Does God Possess Faith? This question is being discussed across the Christian community. Is God a faith being? Does God use faith? Did He use faith to speak creation in to existence? Did Jesus use the God kind of Faith when He cursed the fig tree? These are questions believers have to know the answers to. Theou in the NT Theou is the Greek word translated "of God" throughout the NT. We will prove that this is the correct translation when used in Mark 11:22 The Context of Mark 11:22 The correct meaning of any word is derived from the context of the passage/sentence in which it is used. We shall show that the correct context in Mark 11:22 is "the God kind of faith." Faith is an action and attribute of a spiritual being. God is a spiritual being and it is logical to believe that He possesses all the attributes that any spirit would possess. This includes love, faith, joy, and peace. We shall show that God in fact possesses each of these. "In God" We shall show why Mark 11:22 should not be translated "in God." The Greek preposition "en" (in) does not exist in this verse and it should not be added. The verse is perfectly understandable as it was written. "Have the faith of God." Other Resources We shall present dozens of expert and scholarly opinions as to why Mark 11:22 should in fact be translated "faith of God."
