A group of women friends from South East London maintain their friendships through ups and downs. It is not until Cara'shusband Dave indecently exposes himself to Evelyn, that things start to crumble. Rhiannon's boyfriend Joe Lucas is a gangster who decides to take matters into his own hands and deal with Dave personally. When she sees what he has done she reports him. Afterwards she fears for her safety and returns to Wales. She doesn't understand that Joe's reach is very long and he already has her in his sights.
