Rogers Cabello has just returned to his hometown of Shamrock, NJ after 18 years. He originally fled to California a week before his high school graduation after he found out he knocked up his high school girlfriend Cazzie Jones...who still lives in Shamrock with her son Tim. Rogers has come back to Shamrock because his father has just passed away. He decided to go home to help his mother deal with the death of her beloved husband and try and reconnect with Cazzie and his son who has hasn't even met. Broke, with no possessions or prospects, Rogers will set out to right the wrongs of the past, to beg for forgiveness, and to try and piece together some kind of stable, satisfying existence, one that's eluded him his entire life.
