Hidden Perception

Sometimes we never know the true reasons for someone's action or something's existence. From desperate or seemingly hopeless situations positive outcomes can flower. Who is that lady standing on the pier alone on a dark windy night? Why has she vanished? Why is a relative of us from the past wrongly thrown in with all the dinosaurs? What is the reason for that silvery band of slime covering all the cars? Does anyone know and does anyone understand the language of sparrows? Is death the end or are there ways of trying to resurrect a lost soul even in wartime?
