No one knows what lies ahead of them, and that includes Jennifer. Her normal life as an attorney has returned, and she wants to know for how long. Knowing her days are numbered, she takes her profession to her house working part time with her secretary. She protects her secretary, Cookie, from being hurt in case of an attack from zombies. Then as time moves on Jennifer finds visits from her former husband Matthew and then Jack. Trying to keep peace with Matthew and Jack not to harm Don, she decides to befriend them once again. Not knowing that Jack is moving in from Portland to Los Angeles on account of zombies in Portland. This makes a conclusion to Jennifer that Jack is just saying that to get closer to her and to harm Don. More problems come when Jennifer and Don decides to go away to be together. There they find themselves in a rainstorm with heavy thunderstorms pounding Los Angeles causing serious flooding. Don rents a cabin so he could relax with Jennifer which is disturbed by the rain coming down more than they thought it would. Jennifer finds that the water is surrounding them and she tells Don that they need to leave. As they gathered their belongings, Jennifer and Don opens the door and the flood water rushes into the living room. They both are swimming to their truck as Don tries to stay with Jennifer. Not knowing that Don is hurt from a passing branch, she finds him struggling to get to the truck as she helps him. She wants to call 911 but her cell phone is wet from the water and now it is up to her to save her husband from bleeding. She tries talking to Don, but soon realizes that he has passed out. She accelerates the truck, but finds that the gravity of the water is pulling her to one side and then comes to a tree that has fallen. She knows that she is closer to her home, but must take the other side of the street because the tree is blocking her entrance. Being desperate as time is ticking for her husband's life, she finally arrives at her home and then tries to open up her gate. From so much water, the gate will not budge and she could feel herself growing impatiently, Jennifer decides to use her truck to break down the gate which is her only hope to get into her home. When she is about to do so, the gates swing open and there stands Paul, the angel warrior. Being in shock, Jennifer watches Paul pick up Don and take him inside the house nursing him back to health. It is not something that she expected to happen to her, but she is more than grateful to Paul for saving her husband's life. The question that Jennifer has for Paul is whether or not there will be a invasion of zombies to come, or not. She does not take the appearance of Paul as an act of helping, but a forewarning that the zombies are coming.
