Dr. Travis McKenna disappeared late one night from his ranch. His nephew, Davey found his beloved horse Smokey a week later in a field across from his school. The Sheriff of Flow River, Redmond Deer Water started a search for his friend and found Travis's car on a little used road outside of town. The car had crashed and burned. Inside was the identification and the body of Travis McKenna. Everyone believed that Travis was dead except is eight-year-old niece, Bree. Soon, Dr. Chase, his colleague, and the man he considered his brother also had his doubts. If Travis was alive, where was he? And who was the man in Travis's car? He wouldn't stop looking until he found the answer. Was Travis McKenna dead, or did something more sinister happened to him?
