HOW DO WE IDENTIFY THE SOURCES OF THREAT?The Solarans have established contact with Hank Stone, commander of the Galactic Guardians in an alternate universe. Their purpose is to further identify potential threat locations in the Solaran universe. They are checking these locations to determine where Solaran action is needed. While there are similarities in events between the two universes, there are also major differences. A threat in one universe may not have developed in the other or may have followed a different path. With the identification of additional threat conditions, manning of the Solaran fleet becomes more critical. Each threat represents an additional and ongoing demand on available resources. The Solarans now have larger ships and have replaced their carrier class of ship, but now the necessary manpower to operate the fleet must be found. Additional invasion forces must be countered and with a sound response structure. Tactics must be developed to respond to threats that can be replicated but contain sufficient flexibility to respond to the occasional curve ball that comes their way. While Solaran response to an immediate threat is generally effective, the follow up must be addressed to assure that help offered does not stop at the point of blocking an invasion. What happens after the invasion is stopped? What of the aftermath?
