The events. experiences and the environment during our growth years shape our future. Don Piatt Koch and James Richard Koch were not "bad" kids, merely curious. Often that curiosity led to a point where they inadvertently stepped over the line. Some of these events are described along with the environment in which they occurred. Some things described in this book are from a time long gone. Recollections are noted for the years during WWII and the post war years up to 1960. The two brothers were 19 months apart in age but that did not mean that they could not find ways to get in trouble together. The stories cover growing up in Philadelphia, then in South Jersey and finally Don's three years in the Marines. Just when you think you have seen it all, creativity comes into play. Some of the stories are a nostalgia trips and others describe incidents in which we now find some humor.
